St Ignatius College, Zambia aims to provide academic excellence and quality education of the whole person in the Jesuit tradition. It wants to educate leaders who are emotionally intelligent, environmentally conscious and engaged in academic rigor. Over the years, the school has played a significant role in providing spiritual, academic and character formation to its students and has been responding to the developing needs of the community as a whole.
Girls and boys have the option to become more integrated into the St. Ignatius community and join the community of boarders. While there, they develop skills in independence and self-care. Students eat together, study together and live together, creating strong friendships and developing a closeknit community.
The college contributes to SDG 4:’ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning’ of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
