About the Society of Jesus:

The Society of Jesus, also known as ‘the Jesuits’ is a Catholic order of priests and brothers with presence in over 80 provinces and regions worldwide.  Together with many lay co-workers, Jesuits work in a wide variety of ministries including education and scholarship, parishes, retreat and spirituality centres, interreligious dialogue, peacebuilding, social justice, ecology and refugee services.  Jesuits draw on the rich tradition of Ignatian spirituality and reflection.
