The Jesuit Mission Office is getting its running shoes on!

To raise funds for Gonzaga Primary School in Tanzania some of the staff in the Mission Office is taking part in the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in June this year. The 10km run takes place in Dublin on Monday 4th June during the Bank Holiday weekend.  

So far, our runners include Yanira Romero from El Salvador, Rosa Wang from China and Orla Ni Sheaghdha from Ireland. The proceeds raised from the event will go towards the refurbishment of Gonzaga Primary School in Tanzania which was damaged by flooding in December 2011. 

We are looking for more women to take part. If you fancy running, jogging or walking for the Mission Office in this year’s event please get in contact with us. We will provide t-shirts and sponsorship cards for all taking part.

It’s a great way to keep fit and raise money for a good cause at the same time!
