Russian aggression against Ukraine has forced thousands to flee from war and violence. Innocent civilians are tragically caught in the crossfire and travel to neighbouring borders of Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia to seek safety.
Pope Francis has described those affected as our “brothers and sisters, for whom we must urgently open humanitarian corridors. They must be welcomed.”
IJI will respond to support our Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) partners as circumstances unfold and send support to where the need is greatest within the wider Ukrainian situation.
You can donate today to support refugees in Europe.
